1. Who we are
Bottega Bespoke is a sartoria at 135 San Lorenzo Ave, Suite 130, Coral Gables, Florida 33146. The company behind it is Bottega Bespoke LLC, a Florida limited liability company. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Bottega Bespoke LLC.
This policy covers bottegabespoke.com, the messages we exchange with you by email and text, and the client records we keep in order to make your garments. It does not cover what other companies do on their own websites, including the booking system described in section 6.
2. What we collect
What you give us
- Through the form on this site: your name, your email address, the subject you pick, your telephone number if you choose to enter one, and whatever you write in the message.
- When you book or visit: your contact details, your appointment times, your measurements, your fitting notes and your fabric preferences. A tailor cannot work without them.
- When you buy: the order and its history. Card payments are taken by our payment processor at the moment of payment. We do not store your full card number.
What the site records on its own
Every web server keeps a log. Ours records the pages requested, the date and time, and the network address the request came from. Our host keeps those logs for its own security and billing.
Separately, we count visits ourselves. That measurement is described in section 5, it sets no cookies, and it does not record your network address.
3. Why we use it
- To answer you when you write to us.
- To arrange, confirm and change appointments and fittings.
- To cut, make, alter and deliver what you commissioned.
- To keep your measurements on file, so the second garment does not start from the beginning.
- To take payment and keep the accounting and tax records the law requires of us.
- To tell you about the house, if and only if you asked us to.
- To understand, in aggregate, which parts of this site people read.
We do not use your information to build a profile of you for advertisers, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.
4. Text messages
If you give us your mobile number and tick the box asking us to text you, we will send you messages about your appointments: confirmations, reminders, fitting logistics, production status and delivery notice.
- Message frequency varies with your order. Most clients receive a handful of messages around each appointment.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. Reply HELP for help, or call the showroom.
- Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. You can book, buy and be fitted without it.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The only parties who ever see your mobile number are the service providers who deliver the message for us, and they may not use it for anything else. Text message opt-in data and consent are never shared with anyone.
5. Cookies and measurement
This site sets no advertising cookies and no tracking cookies. There is no cookie banner here because there is nothing to consent to.
We do count visits, using our own measurement running on our own server. For each page view it records the page, the date and time, the address of the site that sent you here if there was one, whether the screen is a phone, a tablet or a computer, and which parts of the page were reached. It also records when someone opens the booking widget or sends the form, so we know whether the site works.
It does not set a cookie, does not store your network address, and does not follow you to any other website. Visits are grouped under a random label that is regenerated every day and cannot be traced back to you. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we record nothing at all.
The typefaces on this site are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser asks Google for them and Google receives your network address in the course of answering. That is the only third party this site contacts as it loads.
6. Who we share it with
We share what is necessary, with the people who need it to do a job for us, and nothing beyond that. Every one of them is bound to use it only for that job.
| Who | What they receive | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Our web host | Server logs, the messages sent through the form | To run the site and deliver its mail |
| Vagaro, our booking system | Whatever you enter into the booking widget | To hold the appointment. Vagaro is a separate company with its own privacy policy, which governs what you type into it. |
| Our client records and messaging provider | Your contact details, appointments and message history | To keep the diary and send confirmations by email and text |
| Our payment processor | Your card details, taken directly by them | To take payment |
| Our accountant and our lawyers | Records relevant to a specific matter | Tax, audit, and legal advice |
We will also disclose information if the law requires it, if we must defend a legal claim, or to protect someone from harm. If the business is ever sold or merged, client records may pass to the buyer, who will be bound by this policy until it is replaced by one no less protective.
7. We do not sell your information
We do not sell personal information. We do not rent it, trade it, or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We have not done so in the previous twelve months. Mobile numbers and text message consent are never shared with anyone for marketing purposes, as stated in section 4.
8. How long we keep it
- Enquiries through the form: two years, unless they become an order.
- Client and order records, including measurements: for as long as you remain a client and seven years after the last order, because a returning client should not have to be measured from nothing and because tax law requires the records.
- Site measurement: twelve months, in aggregate.
Ask us to delete something sooner and we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.
9. How we protect it
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Messages sent through the form are stored where the web cannot reach them. Access to client records is limited to the people at the house who need it. No system is perfect, and we do not claim otherwise, but we treat what you tell us as we treat the fittings: privately.
10. Your choices and your rights
Whoever you are and wherever you live, you may ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you,
- correct anything that is wrong,
- delete what we no longer need to keep,
- send you a copy of it,
- stop sending you emails or texts.
Write to info@bottegabespoke.com and say what you want. We will answer within thirty days. We will not charge you for asking, and we will not treat you differently for having asked.
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with comparable statutes hold these rights by law, including the right to opt out of sale or sharing. As stated in section 7, there is nothing to opt out of here: we do not sell or share personal information. You may use an authorised agent, and we may need to verify your identity before we act, which for most requests means replying from the email address we already hold.
11. Children
This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If a child has sent us something, write to us and we will delete it. Where we make a garment for a minor, we deal with the parent.
12. Other sites
This site links out: to the booking widget, to Instagram, to a map. Once you are there you are on their terms and their privacy policy, not ours. We do not control them and we are not responsible for them.
13. Changes to this policy
When this policy changes we will change the date at the top of the page. If the change is significant we will say so on the site. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the revised policy.
